Brendan Collins - Executive Director

With more than fifteen years across the public and private sectors (including stints in Big Tech and the NYS Governors Office),Brendan is proud and grateful to drive citywide initiatives that connect employers, educators, and policymakers to strengthen NYC’s tech workforce and, with a key goal of expanding access to in-demand tech careers for all New Yorkers. When he’s not working at TTP, he can be found either running in Brooklyn Bridge Park or schlepping his two kids around the city on a cargo e-bike.

Thwiba Eltom – Director of Apprenticeship & Accelerated Training

Thwiba Eltom oversees the design and management of apprenticeship and accelerated training programs that prepare underrepresented New Yorkers for high-growth technology careers. Drawing on 10+ years of experience in project management, program design, and equity-focused workforce initiatives, she builds pathways into tech roles in-demand. Thwiba works closely with employers to align training with industry needs while expanding access to paid learning opportunities.

Zamira Kamal (she/her) – Director of Employer Partnerships

Zamira Kamal leads employer engagement at the NYC Tech Talent Pipeline, connecting industry leaders with education and training providers to develop equitable tech talent pipelines. With over 15 years of career in workforce development, talent management, and industry partnership building, Zamira has created programs that increase representation in technology hiring and open pathways into fields like cybersecurity, data analytics, and software engineering. Her work ensures that NYC employers have access to a skilled, diverse, and future-ready tech workforce. In her free time, Zamira enjoys volunteering and exploring outdoor adventures in Queens with her two rescued dogs.
